This Hazy Double IPA is again, one of our most ambitious Southern Hemisphere hop showcases to date. It features twelve different lots of hops across seven different varieties in multiple forms. Together, Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, Waimea, Peacharine, Egger’s Special, NZ Cascade and Nectaron deliver an immersive tropical diesel and sweet fruit experience that borders on overwhelming. And that is just the nose. Once all of those hop oils light off in your mouth, there is nothing left to do but hold on tight and let the blur of spicy passionfruit, mango creamsicles, pineapple infused Sauv Blanc, sticky flower, and fresh squeezed orange juice pin you to your sea. A beer with such an imposing dry hop shouldn’t be this easy to drink, but trust us- this hard charging elephant is made of pure velvet.
